Horne & King was incorporated in November 1978. Located in central Ohio, our firm specializes in public architecture including City Halls, Fire Stations, Police Headquarters, Court Facilities and Civic Campus & Parks. Many of our commissions are multi-use facilities which enable communities to provide comprehensive services to their citizens. We offer our clients both new builds or renovation expansion to suit their needs.

We understand that as public buildings, these facilities represent the values of a community. We provide planning, architectural and interior design services on a personalized basis with Dave King directly involved in each and every project. This involvement extends throughout the development of the project.

Our Design Team firms and key personnel all offer seasoned experience with municipal facilities as well as a long-standing positive relationship with each other. We partner with engineering services with whom we have enjoyed 30+ years of collaboration.

Horne & King is an associate member of the Ohio Fire Chiefs’ Association, International Association of Fire Chiefs, Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police, International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Ohio Municipal League.
